The convenient location is secluded yet just a short distance of approximately 1 mile to the historic town of Fort Bragg or 7 miles to the quaint village of Mendocino. There are many great restaurants in Fort Bragg, Mendocino and along the scenic stretches of the coast. Our Guest Book is filled visitor information including menus from some of the owner's favorite restaurants.

A cooks kitchen with abundant cookware and utensils awaits the guests who want to eat-in.

As you sit in the Hot Springs Spa you will hear the waves on the rocks below and occasionally spy a passing whale.

Tideaway has 3 bedrooms (Twins & 2 kings plus queen sofa bed), 2 baths, two master suites with Flo Beds in main master and great beds in other rooms. The home comfortably sleeps six to eight, an ideal space for 2 or 3 couples.

There are many original artwork Tideaway's designer displayed on the beautiful clear old growth heartwood redwood walls of the Frontier Home edge of the ocean bluff.

A private staircase leads you to tidepools at low tide. A current tidebook is available for checking the times.

For the fisherman or abalone gatherers there is a fish cleaning sink.

Cable/HDTV/VCR/DVD and DSL Wireless Internet are provided along with central heating, a gas fireplace plus a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens(www.gardenbythesea.org) is approximately .5 mile walk up the lane.
